Postal Charges

All shipping fees set out below are the Royal Mail's actual charges for a recorded delivery of our typical items. The stated prices are subject to the additional costs of packaging and the total would normally be the shipping cost that you see in the item description. Please use these as a guide only as some items could be more expensive than normal to package. Please note all UK shipping is second class unless otherwise stated in the item description.

All postage rates quoted are for recorded or insured delivery. We have experienced items lost in the post previously and are not able to accept responsibility or costs for items lost or damaged in the post. Recorded or insured delivery is always recommended as it will enable the item to be tracked through to delivery and to provide compensation of costs if the item is lost or damaged.

Higher valued items or multiple purchases will be quoted for higher compensation postage as necessary to ensure that the full value of the package is insured. Lower value recorded delivery can be quoted however the excess over and above the insurance level will be at the buyer�s risk.

Wherever possible, goods shipped overseas will be sent by Airsure recorded delivery as this system provides full tracking and insurance from posting to overseas delivery.

Goods shipped to overseas destinations that are not covered by the Airsure system will be posted using International Signed For delivery. This system provides tracking and insurance for the UK part of the shipping only. Once the goods have been tracked to leave the UK, we cannot accept responsibility for items lost or damaged in overseas postage.

Non-recorded or uninsured delivery is available however this will be at the buyer�s risk if the item is lost or damaged in the post. Proof of postage will be obtained for these items.

Customers who make multiple purchases will have the items packaged together whenever possible to provide a combined package and therefore to minimise shipping costs. If combined shipping is not possible, the buyer will be informed and shipping options advised.

Items that weigh in excess of 1000g may be posted using parcel post rates for which the following rates will not apply, these rates will be available on request.

The item description includes UK shipping costs only however, the table below may be used to provide indicative shipping costs for overseas buyers. Actual shipping rates are available for 20g weight increments and may be provided for the item on request.

Goods shipped overseas outside Europe would normally require a customs declaration to be attached to the outside of the package. Where a customs declaration applies, the correct value of the shipped item(s) will be stated. Please do not request lower values to be applied for the sake of avoidance of duties.

	The prices stated in the two columns above are for Recorded delivery. For non-recorded delivery please deduct �0.68. Please note that 2nd class post has a weight limit of 1000g.		The prices stated in the columns above are for Airsure delivery. For overseas destinations not served by Airsure, International Signed For delivery will be available at a �0.70 reduction.		The prices stated above are for Surface mail with International Signed For delivery.
Shipment Times
For items destined for within the UK second class post is normally 2-3 working days. For items that weight above 1000g then parcel shipping charges may apply in the UK and these items will normally take 3-5 working days to deliver. For overseas customers within Europe land mail would normally take 12-15 days and outside Europe about 30-40 days. Airmail within Europe would normally be 3-4 days and outside Europe 6-8 days.
